Peninsula Eye Center offers comprehensive eye care, from routine eye exams, glasses and contact lens services to complete diagnostic, medical and surgical eye care. We offer patients a choice of seeing an Ophthalmologist or Optometrist when scheduling an appointment. Our Ophthalmologists are Board-Certified Physicians specializing in the latest medical, surgical and laser treatment of eye diseases. Our Board Certified Optometrists provides the specialty services needed for eyeglass and contact lens wearers.

Examinations & Retinal Services
​
Comprehensive Medical Examinations are the very first step in diagnosing any eye-related abnormality. All eye examinations are performed in one of our 4 state of the art offices, and by some of the most respected and trusted Ophthalmic Doctors on the Eastern Shore.

Our Retinal Services include treatment for Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma Management, as well as treatment for Diabetic patients. We offer the latest treatment for Macular Degeneration including vitreal injections and Laser therapy.

Cataracts can be a natural occurrence of aging. We offer small incision Cataract Surgery in our own outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center. Our surgeons will discuss with you the lens implant best suited to your lifestyle.
Eyewear
​
Eyewear and Contact Lenses are a normal part of life for most people, and it doesn't have to be an uncomfortable part of life. Peninsula Eye Center offers a wide selection of Eyewear and Contact Lenses to meet the needs of all of our patients. Currently, Eyewear and Contact Lens services are offered at our Salisbury and Berlin, MD Locations.

Cornea Care and Transplants
​
Here at Peninsula Eye Center, we offer a full range of cornea and external disease services, including care of routine disorders such as dry eye and blepharitis, to more serious diseases such as corneal ulcers, infections, corneal edema and keratoconus. A wide range of procedures including keratectomy, Chelation, and amniotic membrane therapy are offered. Finally, we perform a range of full and partial thickness corneal transplantation should this be necessary.
